Yesterday my hair was still soft and very manageable from the honey/coconut oil hair mask I tried on Saturday night, for the first time. I made three simple French braids and brought them together in a cinnamon bun to one side. This is such a quick and easy hairstyle, perfect for weekdays.

Easy hairstyle for weekdays (or any day)
Hi everyone,
Yesterday my hair was still soft and very manageable from the honey/coconut oil hair mask I tried on Saturday night, for the first time. I made three simple French braids and brought them together in a cinnamon bun to one side. This is such a quick and easy hairstyle, perfect for weekdays.

Pink Flower High Bun
Hello everyone,
A sweet friend made this beautiful hair decoration just for me, such a lovely surprise. She used craft tape and wire for the frame, and made the flowers out of pantyhose. How creative! It is the perfect size for accenting a big bun, which is how I wore my hair today.
Last night before washing my hair, I mixed together 2 tablespoons honey and 2 tablespoons coconut oil, and applied the sticky mixture to my hair from the ends to the roots. I put my hair up in a bun to let the honey-coconut mask soak in, then washed my hair as usual, being sure to rinse out the honey-coconut mask before C-W-C with my favorite shampoo and conditioner. I love how the honey and coconut worked together to condition my hair and give it that extra shine <3

Braid waves? Make a big messy bun!
Hello my friends,
I love royal blue! It is definitely my favorite color. This morning I unbraided my zig-zag lace braid from a few days ago, hoping for nice braid waves. Thankfully my wish came true, so I piled my hair into a big messy bun without combing my hair out first. I didn't want to remove the waves in any way. A variety of small clips held my hair in place perfectly.
Thank you for coming to see my post! I hope you have a beautiful weekend <3

Zig-Zag Lace Braid (plus Little Micronesian Rapunzel)
Hi friends,
I hope you have a lovely day. It rained practically all day long here in the islands, but around noon the rain stopped for a little while and I was able to take hair pictures outside. I braided my hair in a zig-zag lace braid, always a fun and fancy hairstyle.
And I have some extra special pictures to share with you, of my sweet little Micronesian friend. She makes a lovely Rapunzel <3

French Victorian Hairstyle
Hello everyone,
Thank you for visiting my blog, and thank you for your kind comments on my different posts. It is always special to hear from you.
Yesterday I pinned my hair in a poofy front section, then made a center French braid with two smaller French braids on either side. I pinned the ends of these smaller braids like flowers over my bun, which I made with the end of my larger center French braid. Many bobby pins were needed to keep my hair in place, but I liked the fact that this hairstyle showed my hair itself without any big hair clips in the way.
