About rinsing out the coconut oil, when I first get my hair wet I let the water rinse out my hair and make it super wet, then go on to C-W-C. So between all this, that's probably what gets the oil out. Although over time, if I've been using a lot of coconut oil, my hair can look too wet and 'oily' so I will skip the coconut oil step the next time I wash it.
About monoi oil, it smells like gardenia flowers which is a beautiful strong scent. I get mine from Amazon, it's made in Tahiti. You can get monoi oil that has other scents added in, like ylang-ylang or sandlewood, or vanilla. Congratulat...I really enjoyed this article, Andrea. Congratulations on being featured in such a lovely write-up! You mentioned that you apply coconut oil on the length of your hair and then use cool water afterward. It sounds like your conditioner is what takes out the coconut oil and monoi oil--is that correct? I have never smelled monoi oil--is it very strong? Here's what you said in the article:

‘Before I wash my hair, I put coconut oil or monoi oil on the length, then pile my hair into a bun. I don’t put coconut oil on my scalp or near the roots, only on the length.
‘After waiting about 30 minutes, I wash my hair in cool water using the condition-wash-condition method. I put conditioner on the length of my hair to protect it, then I shampoo the top of my head. I rinse all this out, and condition the length again.
‘I never put conditioner on the top of my head, because this makes my hair come out when I comb it. And I never shampoo the ends, because this causes my hair to dry out.'
Debora Hoffmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09947148491137183181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-900844719438345032.post-31410153891697652212017-07-05T15:09:32.085-04:002017-07-05T15:09:32.085-04:00A very nice article , i read some people say rude ...A very nice article , i read some people say rude things about your hair .
