Micronesian Girl~ 2 lace braids + 5-strand braid = 1 Fun Schoolgirl Hairstyle

Hi everybody,

My little friend has such pretty hair.  This afternoon I braided it for her~ two lace braids and a 5-strand braid.  Her hair is perfect, very combed and tangle-free.  I think the secret is coconut oil; most Micronesian girls use it faithfully every day, and it works great with their thick, black hair.  Thank you for coming by to see our pictures!

    Hi.

    I enjoy your posts and have enjoyed your youtube videos too. I was wondering about the coconut oil the micronesian girls use every day. Do they put it in to stay or wash it out after a certain time period? I am asking because I have put coconut oil in my hair to deep condition and accidentally didn't wash it all out and it made my hair not smell very good. Thanks!
