Today my hair'do was inspired by Mary Helen Bowers from Ballet Beautiful. I exercise with her dvd's every day, and today I noticed her deep side part and side bun. Later when I fixed my hair, I made my own version of Mary Helen's hairstyle.
Thank you for following my blog and coming by to see my new pictures!
After several requests from different friends, last week I made my first hairstyle video outside! You can see the full-length of my hair as I braid it in a 4-strand French braid. My favorite part about this braid is that it looks like a French braid on one side and a Dutch braid on the other. Here are some pictures of my final look, after I wrapped the end of my braid up and clipped it in place. I show the full-length of my braid in my video, so be sure to visit my Youtube channel, too!
Thank you so much for following me here and also on Youtube. I appreciate each view, comment, like, and share! Maybe soon I will reach 500 subscribers, thanks to you all :-) And now for some hair pictures~ the link to my video is at the bottom of this post.
I went to the beach this morning, and while I was there I got some hair pictures taken :-) This is a four-strand mohawk braid with a small English braid on either side, and a bun. Thank you for following my hair posts! I'm excited to share these pictures and videos with you all.
Today I tried something a little different. I gathered a section of hair from the front near my bangs, and made a four-strand braid. Not a French braid version, just a regular four-strand braid. Then on either side of that center braid I made a tiny French braid. I put my hair into a ponytail, and tugged on the sides of my four-strand braid. The results looked to me like an almost different kind of braid, rather like several butterflies in a row. So that's why I thought I would call this...my butterfly braid! I finished my look off with a big, wavy bun. There are a few hairclips hidden underneath like I've shown in a few of my videos. If you've noticed I try to avoid using bobby pins whenever possible!
