Maxi Mermaid

Hi friends,

     This evening I went with a friend to a concert, and of course I had to dress appropriately.  How nice to have such a lovely occasion to dress up, something I love to do.  I wore my new maxi dress that I've been saving, and I braided my hair in a mermaid braided style.  This is actually the flip braid that has made the rounds on Instagram.  I love this braid, it's definitely on my list of top favorites.  Thank you for visiting my blog!

Double 4-strand braids

     A few days ago I braided my hair in this 5-strand Mohawk mermaid braid style.  I overheard some people discussing how I had fixed my hair, they called it a bridal style with some sort of a French braid in the middle :-)

Mermaid braid down by the seashore

Hello friends,

     How beautiful to spend the afternoon down by the seashore, admiring the view and looking for treasures.  A perfect place to find a note in a bottle, or to put your wishes in a bottle and send it off in the waves.

     My mermaid braid is an inverted Dutch braid, so easy to make and it lasts all day long.
