Happy Birthday Dutch braid at Disney World

Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and comments on my birthday today...or yesterday since it's past midnight.  I had a wonderful day celebrating my birthday at Disney World in Florida.  My hairstyle today was a simple Dutch braid, but I gathered all my hair to one side and made this braid along the outer edge of my hair.  I love how this style turned out and am looking forward to trying it again!

"Why, yes, it is my all my own hair!"

"Thank you, it's my purse! I made it myself."

"Of course you may take a closer look."

The strawberries are making somebody hungry!

"Hello, Brer Rabbit!"

Time for some birthday cake!

Make a wish and blow out the candle.

I stopped by Neverland to see Peter Pan

He loved my purse, too! So far everyone has, it's almost as popular as my braid :-)

My sister and I saw the original pagota in Nara, Japan <3

I've also been to the original Himeji Castle!  Amazing!

We walked over to Germany and visited with Snow White :-)

She loved my purse and wants to go berry picking with me :-)

I went back to the Magic Kingdom and stayed till it closed...I looked up at the castle and saw the moon and a single star shining so brightly in the background.

A picture with a lantern outside the Mad Hatter's teacup ride makes the perfect way to end my birthday celebration.  Thank you for enjoying my day with me!

Luau Braided Style

Aloha!

How fun to celebrate my birthday a few days early, by attending a Hawaiian luau!  I got to wear my new outfit which I absolutely love, and fixed my hair in a braided style that I also love.  This carousel braid is perfect for long hair, especially when you want to show some length but have your hair securely braided at the same time.  I had such a wonderful time!  After we left the luau, we stopped by Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom.  I passed a girl who was doing something very familiar~ turning away from the camera so her sister could take hair pictures for her!  Our sisters took our pictures together, and we had fun visiting and chatting about hair for a few minutes, there in the middle of the magical rush around us.  A lovely way to end a lovely day <3

A pre-luau snack~ pineapple soft-serve ice cream!

What a beautiful evening sky, perfect for Disney World...

I laughed when I was looking through my pictures and saw the guy in the background...
