     I'm on my way back to my island home in Micronesia, and stopped in Hawaii while I wait to catch my next flight.  How fun to see the beautiful ocean off the coast of Waianae on Oahu island.  No wonder blue is my favorite color <3

Big bun hairstyles~ always a favorite wherever you are

Hi everyone,

     I so enjoyed getting to visit Washington, D.C. the past few days.  This was my second trip to D.C. in my lifetime, but my first time to see the Jefferson Memorial and the Supreme Court in person.  Since I didn't know how practical a long braid would be from day to day, I usually opted for big bun hairstyles.  These are always a win!

Tulip Braided Updo

Hello friends,

     I love tulips!  How special to visit the Netherlands Carillon in Washington, D.C., a beautiful gift from the Netherlands to America after WWII.  What a lovely scene for hair pictures, especially my updo today~ three 4-strand braids with a big braided bun.
