Today for the first time I tried my hand at an upside-down braid. I wasn't up to an upside-down French braid, but I did manage this lace braid/topknot combo. I really like how it turned out, especially with my hair fork :-)

Upside-Down Lace Braid Topknot
Hi everybody,
Today for the first time I tried my hand at an upside-down braid. I wasn't up to an upside-down French braid, but I did manage this lace braid/topknot combo. I really like how it turned out, especially with my hair fork :-)

Love this!!!! Did the hair fork hold up all of your hair or did you have to use hair pins to assist? Where did you purchase the hair fork?
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's one of my favorites, too. I used about five bobby pins as a little extra help. My hair fork is from a friend at Grah-Toe Studio~ I think I have a link to her website on a previous post. Just click on the "Grah-Toe" label in the side margin and it should take you to the right post. She has some really beautiful pieces, all hand-made!
