I saw this tutorial video today on Facebook, and loved it so much I tried it out myself. I had to adapt a little bit and braid over my shoulder. Since the outer strands gradually get thinner as the braid goes on, I would tie off sections and restart my braid with a new set of four strands. I love how this braid turned out, and will definitely want to do it again :-)

Such a loveley braid Andrea . <3 Do you wear a Paris shirt ??
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, my shirt has pictures of Paris and says "I love you to Paris and back." I love it, it reminds me of my visit there a few months ago <3
DeleteThats very nice and i hope you visit Paris again once ...and Belgium ;)
Deleteamazing..great braids style...dream for touch your longhair..
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteThat is a seriously impressive braid!!! I'm not an accomplished braider (yet!) so I'll have to check out that tutorial and file the info under"someday"! :)! Using some of your hairstyles as inspiration has helped me create more flattering up-dos on myself by avoiding the flat, scraped back look. I think it will help for healthier, thicker hair so thank you for the continuing inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you too!
Yes, it is definitely worth keeping for later! I may have to watch it again myself to remember the steps :)
DeleteI'm so glad you have been able to use some of my ideas for updos! How wonderful <3
Merry Christmas from the islands!
