Classic big low bun

Hi friends,

     Today I fixed my hair in a simple, classic hairstyle~ a big low bun with a rope braid accent.  I added flowers to match my dress.  How fun to have a birthday party for a dear friend this afternoon.  I was in charge of the face painting table, what a fun job that turned out to be!  To brighten your day like it did mine, I'll add a few face painting pictures to the end of my post.  Have a lovely new week, and thank you so much for following my posts!

Sunset by the ocean

Hello friends,

     How amazing to watch the sunset over the beautiful Pacific Ocean.  My sister and I traveled to Guam to do some shopping, and this evening we went down to the beach to take pictures in the gorgeous light reflecting off the water.  Standing on the seashore watching the waves roll in, you can almost convince yourself to step out and walk on water <3

     My hairstyle is a headband French braid with a loose braid coil on one side.  I added a flower headband sideways opposite my French braid.  I've never worn a headband quite this way before, and like the effect it gives this hairstyle.

Charming Flower Updo

     Happy weekend!  Today I wore my new flower headband with three low buns, to create this charming flower updo.  I love how you can see the flowers from the front view, it's always nice when your hair can frame your face rather than only be seen when you turn around and leave the room.  Thank you for coming to see my post, and please visit again soon.

Pink Flower High Bun

Hello everyone,

     A sweet friend made this beautiful hair decoration just for me, such a lovely surprise.  She used craft tape and wire for the frame, and made the flowers out of pantyhose.  How creative!  It is the perfect size for accenting a big bun, which is how I wore my hair today.

     Last night before washing my hair, I mixed together 2 tablespoons honey and 2 tablespoons coconut oil, and applied the sticky mixture to my hair from the ends to the roots.  I put my hair up in a bun to let the honey-coconut mask soak in, then washed my hair as usual, being sure to rinse out the honey-coconut mask before C-W-C with my favorite shampoo and conditioner.  I love how the honey and coconut worked together to condition my hair and give it that extra shine <3
