Lovely Braided Roses Style

Hello dear friends,

     I apologize for going so long without posting any new hairstyles on my blog.  I have a good excuse, two actually~ a boyfriend, and travel plans ;-)

     Here are pictures of a braided style I did a week or so ago, I absolutely love it.  This hairstyle is made with simple French braids and three strand braids, I wrapped the ends of my braids into the roses and pinned them in place.  I love this look, it has such a princess-y feel.

Orange Flower Bun

Flower earrings to go with my flower bun

     In Japan I got a lovely pair of flower earrings.  I fixed my hair in a flower bun hairstyle to match, what a fun combination.

 

Lacy Flower Bun

Hello everyone,

     Yesterday I finally wore my favorite new top, a t-shirt with a lace panel on the bottom.  I love this style!  To match my outfit I put my hair into a rather fancy, lacy flower bun.  My braid started out as a simple French braid for a few stitches, then switched to a regular 3-strand braid when I stopped addin in extra hair.  I wrapped this braid around and around my bun, enhancing the flower look.  I love how you can actually see the petals.  Thank you so much for visiting!

Triple fishtail flower buns

Hi friends,

     Yesterday I braided my hair in two French braided fishtails, then wrapped the ends of my braids up into not two but three fishtail buns.  I added a pearl pin in the center of each bun to create a flower look.  I am usually not very good at French braided fishtails, but these stayed excellently all day long until I took down my hair.

     My hair needed to be clarified from all the oils I've been using on the ends lately, so instead of using a mask or even coconut oil, I went straight to C-W-C then did an apple cider vinegar rinse.  I washed my hair earlier in the evening than usual, so it could have more time to air-dry before I went to bed.  I'm very happy with the results, my main hair goal is always to have ends that are healthy and look thick <3

Pastel Elsa Updo

Hi friends,

     I hope your year is going wonderfully so far.  Today I used my new pastel hair ties to make a side pull-through Elsa-style updo.  I love how this way to make a pull-through braid looks loose and soft, I learned the technique from a video by Sweethearts Hair Design on YouTube.  After making my pull-through braid, I brought my braid over into a side rope braid bun, and added pastel flowers to match my dress.  How fun to take hair pictures in front of even more pink flowers, real ones in my yard!
