Heart Accent Braided Style

Hi friends,

I love how accent braids dress up any style, like this simple French braid.  All throughout the day, people stopped to ask me about my hair and how I fixed it.  How very kind of them.

Thank you for visiting my blog!  I wish you a lovely new week.

Easy cross-stitch heart

Hello friends,

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, so I made a simple heart addition to my hairstyle today.  It's just a heart shape made with two braids, the pattern reminded me of cross-stitch.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  Be my valentine 💘

Hearts and Flowers

Hi friends,

Happy Valentine's Week to you all :-) <3  Today I wore a new shirt that I got as a gift, I love the gold glittery heart on the front.  Of course I had to take pictures in front of the beautiful pink flowers once again, how could I not?  Today I made a sideways Dutch braid and combined it with a side bun.  I love how this braid resembles a line of hearts...definitely a Valentine hairstyle.

I *heart* ponytails

Hi everyone,

Today I tried a new variation of my ponytail hairstyle from last week~ this time I kept the length of my ponytail a little longer than waist length.  Then I made a pull-through heart braid like I saw on Facebook, and made 4 hearts.  The rest of my ponytail is a normal pull-through braid, and I kept the tassel very tiny.
I love this hairstyle!  And my hair doesn't feel heavy at all when I make a ponytail in this "I Dream of Jeannie" style.  I'm thinking...an idea for a future hairstyle video? :-)

Easy Heart Braid

Hi everybody,

Thank you so much for all the views here on my blog and on my Youtube videos!  Yesterday I made a simple English braid in place of a mohawk braid, and added a French braid on either side.  When I put my hair in a low ponytail so I could make my bun, I tugged on the sides of the English braid just like I did when I made my butterfly braid w/ dragon-fly French braids.  The result in this 3-strand braid reminded me of a row of hearts, so...an easy heart braid!  I like the way the center English braid hides the part between my two French braids~ an interesting change.
