Ripple-effect Dutch Braid

Hey everyone, 

My look for today started out as a Dutch braid, but instead of gathering the hair from both sides of my head I gathered it from the right side and from the center back.  I did not make a part, but felt my way in a semi-straight line.  With the remaining loose hair on the left side, I made a small French braid.  For my bun, I wrapped one braid around the other and held everything in place with clips.  I like the defined look of the different sections of my Dutch braid~ almost like ripples.

Hello friends,

Today was a beautiful, windy, colorful day~ the flowers and leaves in the background seem to match my hair clips exactly!  I started this hairstyle by making a small waterfall braid, then another, and along the bottom I made a lace rope braid.  It's hard to tell one braided section from the other, but the overall effect reminds me of a woven basket.

My Cindy-Lou Who 'Do

Hey everybody,

This is one of my favorite hairstyles but I rarely fix my hair this way because it is a little over-the-top~ double cinnamon buns :-)  I'll call it my Cindy-Lou Who 'Do since it's Christmas time and this hairstyle reminds me of the cute little girl on the Grinch cartoon.  Merry Christmas!

Casual Hair Sticks Bun

Hey friends,

Here is another fun every-day hairstyle from my sister~ a very nice low bun with a few braid accents and hair sticks.  You can see we both like low buns and accent braids :-)

Multi-Braids~ a fun look at any time!

I love multi-braid hairstyles like my look for today~ I made one braid at a time wherever it felt most natural, parting my hair with my fingers rather than a rat-tail comb.  My bun is an English braid wrapped up and held with two hair clips~ Merry Christmas, everyone!
