Dutch Rapunzel Braid

Hi friends,

I'm in love with side Dutch braids, especially when one is combined with a pull-through braid <3  Today I braided my hair in a side Dutch braid, then put my hair into a low ponytail.  I wrapped a little bit of hair around my ponytail holder, then braided the length of my ponytail in a pull-through braid.  When I reached a little past waist length on my braid, I tied my braid off then braided the rest of my hair in a simple 3-strand braid.  I brought this braid up underneath my pull-through braid, and wrapped it around the base of my ponytail.  This kept my Rapunzel-style braid at waist length, rather than full length.

Thank you for coming by my blog!  How fun to share hair pictures with all my friends around the world.

Florida French Braid

Hi everyone,

For someone who lives in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, a trip to the Atlantic Ocean is quite an adventure!  The sand was soft, the waves were rough, and the wind was strong~ a beautiful afternoon on the beach in Florida.  My hairstyle was a French braid Mohawk with side accent braids and a braided ponytail.  Happily, my hair held in place in spite of the ocean breeze :-)

Shoulder length style for ankle length hair

Hi friends,

Last night I used my favorite homemade hair mask~ 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons coconut oil.  I put this mixture on my hair and wrapped my hair up in a plastic bag (yes, it did look funny!)  After about an hour I washed my hair as normal, and today my hair is once again shiny and thick like it always is after using this hair mask treatment.

I put my hair up into a shoulder length style like I show in my video on YouTube.  I love this hairstyle, it is such a change from a braid or a bun.  Thank you for coming to see my new post!  Wishing you a beautiful and a wonderful day <3

Afternoon Flair

Hello everybody,

I hope you are having a peaceful and wonderful week so far.  Today I took advantage of the Florida summer weather and wore my new white dress again~ with a fancy braided updo as my hairstyle.  I made a 4-strand push-up braid, a small sideways French braid, and then a braided side bun.  I decorated the outside of my bun with the end of my push-up braid, and held my hair in place with several hair clips.  I love push-up braids!  They are so easy to make, and still look extremely intricate.  They add flair to any hairstyle.

French Waterfall Updo

Hello friends,

Today I braided my hair in a waterfall braid, and drew the sections of my waterfall braid into a French braid.  I love the intricate look this hairstyle has, especially as I know just how easy it was to create!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  Be sure to follow my hair page on Facebook, sometimes I post a picture there that you may not find on my blog :-)
