Mommy French Braid

Hi friends,

I find the French braid is one of my favorites.  It looks great on its own or combined with other braids.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple French braid, and clipped the end up a bit to keep it out of little fingers.  Thanks for visiting my blog!

 

Braided Updo with Baby-Girl~ yes, I'm still fixing my hair every day!

Hi friends!

It has been much too long since I posted on my blog, but as you can see I have been...busy :-)  Baby Girl is growing fast and oh-so-sweet!  Thankfully I still have time most days to fix my hair, and yesterday we managed to take some mommy-and-baby photos that also include some hairstyle shots.  This is one of my go-to styles these days, a small French braid where a headband would go, brought down into a side braided bun.  Hopefully I can post more hairstyle pictures on my blog in the weeks and months ahead, thank you so much for continuing to follow!  I wanted to let you know that this is not yet a dead page :-)

Short and easy updo~ today's hairstyle

Hello friends,

     Happy March!  How fun to begin a brand-new month.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple short updo style.  I braided two small braids on either side of my hair, then made three braids with the remaining loose hair and arranged all my braids in place just so.  I love wearing short hairstyle just for the day, no cutting involved :-)

     I hope you are having a wonderful Valentine's week!  A few days ago I braided my hair in this simple braided hairstyle.  It's a hybrid braid, which is practically the same as a chunky fishtail braid.  It's a fishtail braid made with four interchanging sections of hair.  I pinned the end of my braid around my head like a halo.  I love this simple boho look.  Thank you for coming to see!  Check out this article that the Daily Mail is featuring about my hair, especially my favorite hair secret of eating a spoonful of peanut butter every day :-)

Double Rope Braid Bun

Hello dear friends and a belated Happy New Year :-)

     I love being married to the love of my life!  I've been busy getting settled in to my new home, so I haven't posted much as you probably noticed.  But once again I will try to start posting more often.

     A few days ago I braided my hair in this pretty bun style.  My bun is actually two rope braids braided together in another rope braid, so a double rope braid :-)

     Thank you for coming by to see my pictures!  I'm living in the middle of snow right now, so I'll see how I adjust my hair care to this new climate.  So far I've been able to stretch out my washes to once a week, and I'm putting monoi oil and coconut oil on the ends of my hair during the week.  It helps keep the static down and also keeps my ends hydrated.

Light Blue Rope Braid Updo

Hi everyone,

     A few Sundays ago, I wore another favorite blue dress and fixed my hair in a simple style to match.  This is one of the first updo's I learned to do, two rope lace braids and a low braided bun.  Thank you for visiting my blog!  I'm looking forward to seeing how I'll feel like fixing my hair tomorrow :-)

Super Loved Dutch Braid Style

Hi everyone,

     Of course I had to buy this shirt when I saw it at the store 💕 To match the casual feel of my outfit, I braided my hair in three small side braids brought across and braided into a side Dutch braid.  I doubled my braid once, so that it was waist length instead of full-length.  Thank you so much for coming to see my post!  I have new earrings too, dream-catchers 😍
