Bow Bun

Hi friends,

     I love making hair bows with my new topsy-tail tool that I got in Japan.  This hairstyle is a Dutch headband braid combined with a side bun made with a hair bow wrapped around with another braid.  I love this style!  Thank you so much for coming to see my pictures.  Have a wonderful day <3

All-American Bun

Hi everyone,

     It's not a hamburger bun or a cinnamon bun, but it is an all-American bun just the same.  I love using my hairband in this fashion, and it's been a while since I put my hair up in a simple big bun.  That's two reasons why I love this hairstyle :-)

 

Pink Wreath Bun

Hi friends,

     This morning I wore a favorite pink top with lace trim, so I fixed my hair in a style to match, using a pink lace headband and flower clips to dress up a low bun.  I love the simple yet fancy look of this hairstyle.  Denim flowers add a shabby chic touch.  How nice to take hair pictures in front of my pink flower wreath, in the light that is streaming in my room from outside.  On super sunny days like today, it's great to be able to take hair pictures indoors for a change :-)

A simple updo to match my dress

Hello everyone,

     To those of you who are new to my blog, welcome!  I love sharing hair pictures here with my friends around the world.  I washed my hair last night and let it air-dry all night long.  This morning it was soft and shiny and ready to be piled up into this easy updo.
   
     Instead of making a more elaborate hairstyle, I made a poofy front section with a big bun and added headbands and a bow to match the colors of my dress.  I like polka dots, they are always fun and have a retro feel.  Thank you for coming to see my post!  Please come again soon, and I hope you have a lovely week.

  

Merry Christmas Bun

Hi friends,

     Yesterday I fixed my hair in a big cinnamon bun, and decorated it with my new Christmas-colors headbands. I used two holly clips to hold the headband in place, since I wore it around my bun rather than around my head.

     I'm visiting friends in a beautiful, quaint Florida town, and many people I met told me how much they loved my hair <3  How fun to walk through the town center at night and see the lights, listen to Christmas music, and even enjoy a golf cart parade :-)
