Short and easy updo~ today's hairstyle

Hello friends,

     Happy March!  How fun to begin a brand-new month.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple short updo style.  I braided two small braids on either side of my hair, then made three braids with the remaining loose hair and arranged all my braids in place just so.  I love wearing short hairstyle just for the day, no cutting involved :-)

     Today I wore my hair in a pretend short-style.  I made a loose English braid that I wrapped up and clipped in place to make a version of my favorite Ginger Rogers hairstyle.  Of course the beauty of this is that long hair can become short hair, but only for one day :-)

     I was in such a rush this morning, a short hairstyle was a must!  This look took less than 3 minutes to create, and it lasted all day long.  Thanks for visiting my blog, how fun to be able to share hair pictures with you all.

 

Faux 7-Strand French Braid

Hello friends,

     Yesterday it poured rain, but thankfully that didn't keep me from taking hair pictures.  I set my camera in front of the window, sat in my colorful hammock-chair and twirled around to show each angle of my braid.  To make this braid, I first made a 3-strand accent braid, then I braided the rest of my hair in a 4-strand French braid.  I pinned the 3-strand braid along one side of my French braid, to make my braid look thicker and more complicated.  I draped the length of my braid over one shoulder, folded it up, and clipped it in place with hair clips.  Thank you for coming by my blog to see!

Shoulder length style for ankle length hair

     Last night I used my favorite homemade hair mask~ 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons coconut oil.  I put this mixture on my hair and wrapped my hair up in a plastic bag (yes, it did look funny!)  After about an hour I washed my hair as normal, and today my hair is once again shiny and thick like it always is after using this hair mask treatment.

     I put my hair up into a shoulder length style like I show in my video on YouTube.  I love this hairstyle, it is such a change from a braid or a bun.  Thank you for coming to see my new post!  Wishing you a beautiful and a wonderful day <3

  

Short bob for the day

Hi friends,

It's fun to have a short hairstyle for a change, but of course only for one day.  I would never want to use scissors to achieve this look, just bobby pins and hair clips :-)
