Maxi Mermaid

Hi friends,

     This evening I went with a friend to a concert, and of course I had to dress appropriately.  How nice to have such a lovely occasion to dress up, something I love to do.  I wore my new maxi dress that I've been saving, and I braided my hair in a mermaid braided style.  This is actually the flip braid that has made the rounds on Instagram.  I love this braid, it's definitely on my list of top favorites.  Thank you for visiting my blog!

Flipped braids for my friend and me

Hello everyone,

     This afternoon I taught my young Micronesian friends the popular "flipped" braid that took the internet and Instagram by storm a few months ago.  I love the surprise of this braid, it definitely has a WOW! factor.  I demonstrated the braid by braiding my own hair first, then I braided my friend's hair.  Hair-braiding is definitely a way to give girls individual attention and make them feel special <3
