Bohemian-style Dutch braid updo

Hello everyone, Happy Friday!

Today I fixed my hair in a Dutch braid but I put the length of my hair into a ponytail at the base of my neck.  Then I tugged on only one side of my braid, which gave it a very loose, boho look.  I braided my ponytail into a big loose 3-strand braid, and wound this braid up into a low bun.  I used a couple of fancy bobby pins to hold the loose hair on each side of my boho braid.  I love how this style turned out!  It's messy, in a tasteful way.  The afternoon light was perfect for taking hair pictures.  Thank you for coming to view my post!

Double Dutch Braids~ my boho hairstyle today

Hi friends,

I hope you have had a lovely week-end <3  This morning I braided my hair in double Dutch braids and tugged on them a little bit to give them a boho look.  I put my hair into a side ponytail, then made a loose rope braid which I wrapped up into a bun.  I love this look, it is slightly messy yet still has an elegant feel.

Micronesian Girls~ Two beautiful hairstyles

Hello from the islands,

My two friends had such beautiful hairstyles yesterday, I wanted to share them with my other friends around the world.  The first is an amazing hippie braided headband combined with an incredibly thick ponytail.  The next one is a circle Dutch braid, on hair that is around knee length which makes this hairstyle even more impressive.  Thank you for coming to see our pictures!

Boho Dutch-and-rope-braids~ my look for today

Hi friends,

Since today is the first day of a new month, I'll go ahead and post another set of hair pictures :-)  I washed my hair last night so it was very clean today.  I've been using Moroccan argan oil for the first time, and I really love it!  It makes my hair super easy to comb out even when it is wet, and leaves my hair soft and shiny but not greasy or weighed down.
Today I decided on a boho look and made a loose center Dutch braid.  Then I added lace rope braids on either side, and finished my look with a big low bun.  I held my bun in place with a clip hidden inside, and my favorite large wooden Grah-toe hair fork.  Thanks for coming by to see my new pictures!

Boho Braided Headband

Hi everybody,

I tried to fix my hair in a way that would match the style of my dress.  I made a small English braid on one side and wrapped it around my head twice like a headband.  Then I made another braid on the opposite side and wrapped it around twice.  (The reason I wrapped both braids around my head twice was because my hair is so long.  You could easily create the same look with hair shorter than mine by wrapping each braid around once, or as far as each braid will reach.)
I braided my loose hair into a bigger English braid and mad a low bun.  And there you have it~ a boho hairstyle to go with my boho dress :-)
