White Christmas Angel Hairstyle

Hi friends,

What better look for the first Sunday in December, than a white Christmas angel hairstyle.  My hairstyle is simple, a braided bun on top with braided loops underneath, pinned in place with hair clips and bobby pins.  I used my white gardenia and rose clips to accent this updo.  How fun to wear white at Christmastime, I can't help but think of angel wings, a bright night sky, and glorious heavenly singing.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!  I wish you all the Merriest of Christmases.

Half and half hairstyle

Hi everyone,

I hope your week is off to a lovely start.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple combination style, with half of my hair in a bun and the other half in a short rope braid ponytail.  I loved getting to use hairclips that matched my purple shirt.  What a fun look for an equally fun day :-)

Half updo for a beautiful morning

Hi friends,

I discovered a new spot in our yard to take hair pictures, the light is perfect in the morning.  I love how you can see the blue sky through the trees and greenery.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple half updo using hair clips.  I tried several times to do my favorite Ginger Rogers' updo but my hair refused to cooperate!  This doesn't happen often, but it certainly happened today.  But all's well that ends well, and now I have another hairstyle to share here on my blog.

Thank you for coming to see my pictures!

Half-Updo for super long hair

Hi friends,

Yesterday I wanted to have my hair frame my face, but I didn't want to wear it down at full length.  My solution was to put it up in this half-updo fashion using my favorite hairclips.  The result lasted all day long until I took my hair down at night.

On Saturday evening, I used my favorite hair mask before washing my hair.  I mixed 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons coconut oil and 2 tablespoons olive oil, and applied this mixture to my hair.  I piled my hair up in a high bun and covered it with a plastic grocery bag.  I let this sit for about an hour, then washed my hair as normal with the Condition-Wash-Condition method.  My hair was so strong and thick, and if I may say so, lovely, after doing this hair mask.  I absolutely recommend it.  You can even half the recipe if you like, and do everything 1x instead of 2x.

Thank you for visiting my blog!  I hope you enjoy my posts as much as I enjoy sharing them with you.

Christmas Rose Half-Updo

Hello dear friends,

I'm sorry to have posted absolutely nothing for over a week, I've been sick.  But thankfully I am starting to feel a little better, so hopefully I will be back to my normal self soon <3

Today I fixed my hair in a Christmas half-updo, using the length of my hair as a rose braided bun accent.  I love fixing my hair in this style on mornings when I'm pressed for time, or on days when I feel like wearing my hair in a shorter style.  This is a fun alternative to a bun or an updo.

Thank you for visiting my blog!  I hope you return again soon.  Have a lovely Christmas!
