Flag Day French Braid

Hi friends,

     Today is Flag Day in the US, so I wore my new flag necklace and bracelet that I bought for the 4th of July.  I fixed my hair in a sideways French braid.  A friend told me this week that they are enjoying all my side braids lately.  I seem to go through phases :-)

     I was asked to make a hair journey video, and am excited to think about everything I want to share with you when I make it.  Maybe I will be able to do it in the next few days!  Thank you so much for following my blog, I'm so glad we are friends.

 

Going Green

Hello everyone,

     I love my new top, especially the ruffles on the long sleeves.  I fixed my hair in a style to match, a stacked braided headband and a sideways French braid.  I looped the lengths of my braids over my shoulder in a side ponytail.  Thank you for visiting my blog <3

  

 

 

 

3D Pull-through braid, with a 5-strand accent

Hi friends,

     I washed my hair last night and wanted to make an extra special braid today, since I was going with friends this evening to see the Great Britian Ukulele Orchestra.  What an exciting evening it was!

     I braided my hair in the 3D pull-through braid that I learned from Sweetheart's Hair Design.  When my braid reached about waist length, I braided the rest of my hair in a 5-strand braid and then used this smaller braid to accent my pull-through braid.  I love how this hairstyle turned out, and my favorite part was that it lasted all day long until I took my hair down tonight.  It didn't even tangle!

     How sweet my little friend looks with her hair in a sideways Dutch braid.  Her older sister braided her hair for her.  I love how she left out a small accent piece of hair and pinned it in place beside the braid.  What a cute idea <3

Simple updo for Sunday

Thank you for starting the week by coming to see my new post!  Today I fixed my hair in a simple style, two sideways French braids with a side bun.  The matching flower adds a little bit of Spanish flair :-)
