Sunflower Waterfall

Hi everyone,

     Thank you so much for following my hairstyle posts.  Today I fixed my hair in a waterfall braid combined with a regular three-strand braid, and looped the ends of my braids over one shoulder.  I added a few flower clips to match my earrings and sunflower dress.  I love this dress!  It is so fun to wear, definitely a favorite flower on a favorite dress.

 

 

 

 

 

Pastel Elsa Updo

Hi friends,

     I hope your year is going wonderfully so far.  Today I used my new pastel hair ties to make a side pull-through Elsa-style updo.  I love how this way to make a pull-through braid looks loose and soft, I learned the technique from a video by Sweethearts Hair Design on YouTube.  After making my pull-through braid, I brought my braid over into a side rope braid bun, and added pastel flowers to match my dress.  How fun to take hair pictures in front of even more pink flowers, real ones in my yard!

At last I see the light! Tangled Lanterns display in Japan

Hello everyone,

     How absolutely thrilling to get to see the Tangled lanterns display that is currently happening in Tokyo, Japan.  I saw pictures on Oh My Disney! a few weeks ago, and never dreamed I would actually be able to visit this incredible display in person.  You can read all about the display here, and I can honestly say that the experience was everything I hoped it would be.  The Japanese people were as excited as I was to see the lanterns in person, several girls in line also had Rapunzel-themed outfits~ so "kawaii" :-)

Pink Wreath Bun

Hi friends,

     This morning I wore a favorite pink top with lace trim, so I fixed my hair in a style to match, using a pink lace headband and flower clips to dress up a low bun.  I love the simple yet fancy look of this hairstyle.  Denim flowers add a shabby chic touch.  How nice to take hair pictures in front of my pink flower wreath, in the light that is streaming in my room from outside.  On super sunny days like today, it's great to be able to take hair pictures indoors for a change :-)

     I love pink.  And butterflies. And flowers.  And waterfall braids.  Which means I really love this hairstyle!  How fun to take hair pictures with the beautiful pink crepe myrtle in the background.
