Braided Braids

Hi everybody,

Today I braided my hair in three English braids, then braided these three braids together.  I love the look of this combination braid, especially toward the end.  This braid looks so intricate and difficult, but I know how simple it actually was :-)
Thank you for following my blog and Facebook page!  How surprising to see that my Google+ account is getting close to 20 million views!  That is amazing, thank you my friends <3

Side bun~ my look for today

Hello everybody,

I washed my hair last night, and used coconut oil first.  I absolutely love using coconut oil on my hair!  I put it mostly on the ends, all the way up the length of hair but not actually near the top of my head.  Then I put my hair in a bun and leave it alone for an hour or so, and finally I wash my hair using the C-W-C method with Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner.
Today to fix my hair, I made several small English braids and brought them all together with the rest of my loose hair into a side bun, which I held in place with a variety of hair clips and a few bobby pins.  Thank you so much for coming to check out my new post <3

7-Braids

Hi everybody,

I thought about waiting a few days to post these, but then decided to go for it!  Who knows what hairstyles may come up by then, and I'd hate to lose these pictures in the shuffle :-)
To fix my hair today, I made 7 English braids, then wrapped them up in a short low ponytail.  It turned out like this, and lasted all day long:

Loose Braided Bun

Hello friends,

Today I fixed my hair in a favorite style from several years ago, when I first starting posting hair pictures online.  I made four English braids in a row, then bundled them up together and held them in place with a single large clip.  (I did a few extra bobby pins, just to make sure everything stayed secure and in place.)  A fun extra to this hairstyle is...braid waves when I finally take my hair down!
Thank you for following my blog!  I hope you have a wonderful week.
