Navy Blue Bow Updo

Hi dear friends,

     I love bows, on my dresses and in my hair~ in this case, literally!  Since my dress had a bow on the front, I fixed my hair in a bow hairstyle to match.  Thank you for coming to see my pictures!

     This updo is a half-up-half-down, with a bow in the top half and a looped braid in the bottom half.  Bobby pins and a few small clips kept my hair in place all day long.  Thankfully, I didn't have much trouble undoing my hair when night-time came!

Victorian Side Bun

Hello everyone,

     This morning I fixed my hair in a sideways Dutch blossom braid, with a lace braid immediately behind it.  I added a side bun, and was ready to go!  I like how this hairstyle has an old-fashioned feel, and is simple to make yet still looks elegant.  Thank you for coming to see my pictures, I enjoy sharing with you.

French Victorian Hairstyle

Hello everyone,

Thank you for visiting my blog, and thank you for your kind comments on my different posts.  It is always special to hear from you.

Yesterday I pinned my hair in a poofy front section, then made a center French braid with two smaller French braids on either side.  I pinned the ends of these smaller braids like flowers over my bun, which I made with the end of my larger center French braid.  Many bobby pins were needed to keep my hair in place, but I liked the fact that this hairstyle showed my hair itself without any big hair clips in the way.

 

 

2016 Victorian Updo

Hi friends,

     My hairstyle today had a Victorian flare, with several 4-strand braids combined to make a low ponytail, and a fishtail braid accent.  I love my new crochet-accent shirt, such a nice look for fall weather.

Victorian Updo

Hello everyone,

     My hairstyle today reminded me of a Victorian-era updo.  I made two blossom Dutch braids and a big braided bun.  I pinned my hair in place with bobby pins and added my new bow for an accent (I love bows!)
