Beehive Bun and Jewel Clip

Hello friends,

I hope you have a beautiful Sunday!  This morning I piled my hair high in a bun, then added my new jewel clip to hold it all in place.  (I did have another tiny hairclip underneath to create the center poof, and a larger hairclip holding my bun from the inside.)  This is one of my favorite looks when I want something fast but still impressive.  I don't do it very often, so it's always new and different.

Rural Music Awards Hairstyle

I wore my hair like this yesterday, and it reminded us so much of the Carol Burnette "rural music awards" skit on Youtube that I'll post the video below.  My country singer look :-)

Milkmaid Braids with a poof

Happy Saturday!

Today I tried out a hairstyle I learned long ago, when I first started learning new hairstyles on the internet.  Basically, you make two braids on each side of your head, then bring the left braids up and over to the right side and the visa-versa.  After pinning my braids in place, I put my hair into a low ponytail and pulled the back section of hair to make my poof.  Then I made a cinnamon bun, held it in place with a big claw clip and was done!
