An especially fancy bun for Thanksgiving

Hi everyone,

Today is Thanksgiving!  I fixed my hair in a style I saw online, with five braids interwoven below a high bun.  I love this look, and so did my family and friends who saw my hair today :-)

Butterfly Lattice Hairstyle

Hello everyone,

Today I fixed my hair in a head-dress fashion with my favorite little hairclips.  With the length of my hair, instead of making a low bun I made a low ponytail.  Then I wrapped my ponytail up and clipped it in place with more hairclips.  Such a fun hairstyle, especially for taking hair pictures in front of my blue butterfly tree in my room.  Thank you for coming to see my new post, and I hope you have a beautiful day.

Lattice-work Bun

Hi everybody,

My last post about the 3D pull-through braid has to be one of my all-time favorite looks!  I can't wait to do this hairstyle again.  But it's hard to wear my hair down or in a braid EVERY day, so today I criss-crossed my hair over and around different hairclips until I came up with this look.  It looked almost like a patchwork quilt, I thought :-)  But "lattice-work bun" was a prettier title.

Lattice Braid

Hello everybody,

A picture of a hairstyle I tried several years ago has been making the rounds among my Facebook friends, so today I fixed my hair in this style again.  It is a lace braid zig-zagged back and forth to a low bun.  My version today did not have quite as many "zig's" as the original, I think :-D

Curly Bun for Super Long Hair

Hi everybody,

Thank you for coming by to see my new post!  Today I used little elastics to make a small lattice-look on one side, then I put my hair into a ponytail.  I put a hairclip around the base of my ponytail to hold my hair in place, then started wrapping my hair around in a bun and added little clips as I went.  The overall effect looked rather like a curly bun, I thought.  A simple way to turn long straight hair into a more textured hair-do :-)
Sometimes friends ask where do I get all my hairclips.  All of these came from Ross.  I came back from Guam with quite a stash!  Many of my jeweled hairclips I got here on my island.  And one time a girlfriend in Germany sent me some beautiful pearl hairclips.  So you see I get them from many places :-)
