Beehive Hairstyle for Super Long Hair

Hello friends,

Yesterday I wanted to try a simple-but-still-fancy hairstyle, so I pinned up a poofy section with the front part of my hair closest to my face.  I put all of my hair into a mid-low ponytail, and was planning on wrapping everything up into a bun.  I wasn't looking in the mirror, and when I checked to see the result one section of my bun had spread out over the bobby pins on top of my head.  I liked the look of this big wavy bun~ it reminded me of an imitation beehive~ so I clipped everything in place and was ready for the day :-)

I love big buns and beehive hairstyles!

My look for today~ French Braid w/ Side Bun

Hello from the islands!

It's so good to be back home again where the weather is warm, the sun is shining, and the flowers are always blooming :-)  Today (actually yesterday by now) my look was a simple French braid with the top section of my hair and a side braided bun.  I did not make an actual part, which gives this hairstyle a more casual, wavy look~

Happy Hawaiian Morning,

Just a little bit longer and I'll be back home again in Micronesia :-)  My sister took some hair pictures for me this morning, triple French braids and another simple-yet-fun hairstyle.  I loved getting to see the fall colors, and it's good to be in the islands again!

 

 

Favorite Hairstyle~ Swoop Braid w/ Layered Bun (plus pictures with Gaston!!)

A few days ago I got to meet a fellow longhair...this time a guy, Gaston :-)

I wore my hair in a favorite fast-and-easy hairstyle of mine, a swoop lace braid with a layered cinnamon bun...

And just in case you were wondering...yes, these hair pictures were taken in front of Rapunzel's tower!

Josh Groban In The Round~ my hairstyle for this amazing experience!!

Hey everybody!

I have fallen so behind in posting new hair pictures, but now I can post some from an amazing experience just two nights ago~ I got to attend a Josh Groban concert!!!  He calls his tour "In The Round" because he sings on a round stage and walks around, so that everyone has the best seat in the house.  I made a small side French braid with a side ponytail, then braided my ponytail into several small braids which I wrapped up into a bun...

I'll include a few pictures from the concert, plus an extra one from the Orlando newspaper where you can barely see me in the upper corner behind the violin player (not that anyone would notice, but I noticed! :-)
