Mini-Braids & Wavy Bun

Hi everybody,

Thanks for stopping by to see how I fixed my hair today :-) As you can tell from previous posts, I love accent braids! Someone asked how I manage to hold my hair up with my hair clips~ I usually put my hair in a ponytail first, then make my bun. That is how I created my look for today. And my hair clips are from a Ross store in America, in case you are wondering where I got them. I also by a lot of hair clips (mostly the jeweled ones) here on my island.

Micronesian Girl~ Intricate Dutch Braid

This little sweetheart had such a cute hairstyle~ her aunt is the master braider :-)  To really appreciate this braid you have to see it in person, but I tried my best to capture the different angles with my cell phone camera~

Boho Herringbone Braid Bun

I hope you had a beautiful Sunday!  Today I fixed my hair in a way that is easily one of my favorite looks~ a rather high herringbone braid bun, not really messy but loose enough to be considered "boho" :-)

 

Loose French Braid Updo

Hello friends,

Some colorful pictures to share with you today~ the purple flowers in my backyard are blooming so beautifully, they make a perfect background.  Today I put my middle section of hair into a loose French braid, then pulled all my hair into a mid-ponytail and made a layered bun.  The over-all stripe effect of the French braid and the bun matched the stripes on my new hot pink shirt (my favorite color :-)
