My friends from the Redhead Days included me in their new promo video for RHD2016~ how special.  I'm so glad I got to go to the Redhead Days in Breda, the Netherlands, last September.  I loved getting to meet new friends and be a part of such an amazing event.

Years ago I read on the internet about the Redhead Days in Breda, and dreamed of one day going to the festival in person. In 2015 my dream came true, and I attended the 10th Anniversary of the Redhead Days. I traveled over 22,000 miles round-trip, across Asia and Europe, to reach the Netherlands from my home in Micronesia. How exciting to meet other redheads from around the world who had traveled to Breda for the same reason I did: to make friends and celebrate the gift from God that makes us alike and yet unique at the same time – our hair color."

The day after Christmas, a big bun (and pictures of my Christmas present!)

Hello friends,

     My favorite gift was this beautiful doll, who looks exactly like my little friend from England that I met in Holland during the Redhead Days festival.  My mom saw a picture of the two of us together, and got me this adorable doll as a Christmas present since they look so much alike :-)
     By the way, my hairstyle today was an extremely easy big bun, along with the two accent braids that I kept from my hairstyle yesterday.  Thank you for coming to see!

Redhead Days in Breda~ so fun to be one of the crowd

I am still away from home, so my posts are obviously a bit more sporadic than usual :-) The Redhead Days were such fun, I loved getting to meet new friends and spend time with other friends that I rarely get to see in person since I live so far away. I am already looking forward to Redhead Days 2016 ;-)

How exciting to actually be interviewed on TV in Breda! I understood the part about a "frau" visiting all the way from Micronesia, an island near Australia :-)

Redhead Days 2015~ I'm finally here! (plus pull-through braid)

Hello from Holland,

What an amazing two days in Breda for the Redhead Days! I got to meet friends and make many new ones. How special to be a part of this event that I have dreamed of going to for years <3 During the closing ceremony, the Burgomaster introduced me and asked me to join him on the balcony. Everyone was so kind and very excited that I travelled practically around the world to come to Breda for the Redhead Days. The group photo was as fun as it looks in the pictures, and afterwards different redhead friends would ask if we could take a picture together. I think it was quite a surprise to see hair as long as mine, and I got to share about my blog and favorite tips for growing long hair~ use lots of conditioner and eat a spoonful of peanut butter every day :-)
     Here are pictures from Saturday and Sunday, and I will post more in another thread. There are much too many for just one post!
