Cage Braid, such a lovely style especially at Easter

Hello dear friends,

Today it was raining outside so I had to take hair pictures in my room.  I tried out a cage braid style made with loosely gathered lace braids, and was very excited when it turned out so nicely.  I love this style and look forward to wearing my hair like this again soon.  Happy Easter!

Striped Lace Braid

Hello friends,

I hope you have a lovely new week!  I love the month of May, it always seems colorful and fresh.  This morning I braided my hair in a side 4-strand waterfall braid.  I debated what to do next, and the idea came to me to make a lace braid on the opposite side, but add in the loose strands from my waterfall braid.  I love the stripes, they just match my dress :-)  This hairstyle has lasted all day long, without looking very fuzzy at all.  Instead of making a side bun, I opted to loop my braid over one shoulder.

Thank you for visiting my blog!  Please take your time to look through my past posts, and share your favorites with friends.  Every view gets me one step closer to 1 million views!

Crisscross Princess Braids

Hi friends,

I hope you had a wonderful start to the new week. Thank you for all the kind comments here on my blog and on Facebook. I'm sorry for late responses, and will try to answer soon. My birthday is this weekend and I am traveling to celebrate :-)
Yesterday I made two small accent braids at the top of my head just behind my bangs. Then I braided two lace braids in a princess style. I took my two accent braids and laced them back and forth between my princess braids. I have seen this look made with ribbons, always so beautiful. Thank you for coming to see my version.

Can you guess where I am visiting? :-)

Laced-Up Braids with Grah-Toe Hair Fork

Hi everybody,

Today I tried something new, and made a waterfall braid on one side of my head where normally I might make a lace braid.  I made a lace braid on the opposite side, but added the left-over strands of hair from my waterfall braid.  This made a laced-up look, like tennis shoes or laces on a dress :-)  To finish off my hairstyle, I made a braided bun and held it in place with my special gift from my dear friends at Grah-Toe Studio.  Thanks for coming by to see my pictures!
