Springtime Side Bun

Hello friends,

     How beautiful to experience spring in person.  Living in the islands means year-round summer heat and humidity, so I am enjoying very much seeing springtime in America.  I especially love the beautiful flowers that seem to be blooming everywhere.  Today I wore my new sweater and jeans, and fixed my hair in a big wavy side bun.  All day long people complimented my hairstyle wherever I went, so very kind of them <3

     Yesterday I braided my hair in a simple side Dutch braid while it was still wet, since I had washed my hair that morning.  Today I had braid waves, yay!  I left my hair uncombed and put it in a big side bun, so all the waves would show.  I love big pink flowers and big wavy buns :-)

 

Royal Blue Peacock Updo

Hi friends,

     Happy Chinese New Year!  I wore my new peacock hair clip in my hair today, I got it on my recent trip to Singapore.  My hairstyle is a series of twisted sections of hair, pinned in place with bobby pins.  My bun is three rope braids pinned randomly with even more bobby pins.  I would not have made it through a metal detector with this hairstyle!

 

 

 

 

 

Wavy Monday updo

Hi friends,

     I'm home again in my islands, after an amazing time in Japan <3  This morning my hair had braid waves from my hairstyle yesterday, so instead of combing out the waves I piled them into a big bun.  I love braid waves, they are perfect for making easy hairstyles like this one.

     This evening I walked around our yard taking pictures of flowers and birds.  How fun when one o the little birds looked right at the camera as I was taking his picture.
