Easy Big Bun Hairstyle for Long Hair

Hi friends,

My sweet friend in the Philippines sent me a beautiful necklace that just matches the dress I wore today.  My hair was still a little damp from when I washed it last night, so I piled high in a big bun~ a very easy hairstyle that can still manage to appear fancy :-)
     So my hair wouldn't look scraped back, I first made a small English braid right behind my bangs.  Then I put my hair into a ponytail, added a clip to hold my bun in place from the inside, and wrapped my hair into a big bun.  Thanks so much for coming to see my pictures!

Laced-Up Braids with Grah-Toe Hair Fork

Hi everybody,

Today I tried something new, and made a waterfall braid on one side of my head where normally I might make a lace braid.  I made a lace braid on the opposite side, but added the left-over strands of hair from my waterfall braid.  This made a laced-up look, like tennis shoes or laces on a dress :-)  To finish off my hairstyle, I made a braided bun and held it in place with my special gift from my dear friends at Grah-Toe Studio.  Thanks for coming by to see my pictures!

Braided Ponytail

Hi friends,

Today I tried my own version of the carousel braided ponytail.  First I made three lace braids, then gathered my hair into a ponytail.  I started making a wrap-around lace braid on my ponytail, and when I had no more hair to add I brought the end of my braid up and wrapped it around the base of my ponytail.  I used a few hair clips to clip my braid in place.  It's fun wearing my hair "down" for a change instead of in another bun!  Thank you so much for coming to see my pictures!
     On another note, I'm thinking of making a new hairstyle demo video, but I'm not sure what look to do.  One friend suggested a "tower bun."  If you have any thoughts on this or ideas for other hairstyles I should try in a video, please comment and let me know.  I'd love to hear from you!
