Butterflies Bun

Hi everyone,

     Today I fixed my hair in a very simple style, a high bun held in place with bobby pins.  To add some interest, I put colorful butterfly clips on the back of my head below high bun.  What a simple yet pretty way to "fancy" up a hairstyle :-)

Pineapple Updo

Hello friends,

     What is more tropical than a pineapple?  And since I live in the tropics, a pineapple updo is perfect.  I made many small accent braids, then criss-crossed them beneath my messy high bun to make a pineapple-themed hairstyle.  Add to this my pineapple barrette and pineapple top, and I was all set for the day :-)

All-American Bun

     It's not a hamburger bun or a cinnamon bun, but it is an all-American bun just the same.  I love using my hairband in this fashion, and it's been a while since I put my hair up in a simple big bun.  That's two reasons why I love this hairstyle :-)

 

Extra big high bun~ always a good choice

Hello everyone,

     I love a high bun as you might have noticed :-)  Yesterday I wore my hair in a high rope braid bun to compliment my lacy sweater.  This hairstyle and top seemed to go together perfectly.

     How fun to see this beautiful carousel made completely of flowers!  I'm not sure I could pick a favorite horse, they were all equally pretty.

     This week I spent a few days in Hawaii, always a beautiful place to visit.  I lived in Hawaii for several years as a young girl, and have many fond memories of growing up there.  In these pictures I'm wearing my hair in a high bun.  I loved how this particular bun turned out.  It's always funny to me how each bun and braid turns out slightly different from all others.
