Triple fishtail flower buns

Hi friends,

     Yesterday I braided my hair in two French braided fishtails, then wrapped the ends of my braids up into not two but three fishtail buns.  I added a pearl pin in the center of each bun to create a flower look.  I am usually not very good at French braided fishtails, but these stayed excellently all day long until I took down my hair.

     My hair needed to be clarified from all the oils I've been using on the ends lately, so instead of using a mask or even coconut oil, I went straight to C-W-C then did an apple cider vinegar rinse.  I washed my hair earlier in the evening than usual, so it could have more time to air-dry before I went to bed.  I'm very happy with the results, my main hair goal is always to have ends that are healthy and look thick <3

Looped braid and fishtail side bun

Hello friends,

     This morning I watched a video that one of my favorite hair artists, Lilith Moon, shared in 2015.  She showed how to make a loop braid, and it was so lovely that I tried it out on my own hair.  I made the looped braid on one side, and added a fishtail side bun on the opposite side.  I love this hairstyle and braid, and am so thankful I learned how to do it.  When you have time, watch Lilith's video, she shares three or four different hairstyles in the same video.

     Today I braided my hair in a 5-strand French braid and a fishtail braid bun.  Two favorite braids combined in a single hairstyle :-)

Poofy French braid and herringbone bun~ my look for today

     I hope you have a lovely day today.  The weather here in the islands has been beautiful this week, very bright and sunny but with a strong steady breeze.  This morning I fixed my hair in a French braid slightly to one side, and pulled on the sections when I was done to make my braid poofy.  I braided the length of my hair in a herringbone (or fishtail) braid and wrapped my braid into a low bun.  I held my bun in place with bobby pins, then added a large clip on one side.

High Herringbone Braid Bun~ my look for today

Hi friends, 

This morning I fixed my hair in a high herringbone braid bun, a hairstyle that I always enjoy.  After taking hair pictures in my yard, I got to take a few extra by the ocean at sunset.  What a wonderful and spontaneous way to end the day <3
