Blossom Dutch braid to go with my rose jeans

Hi everyone,

I love my rose jeans, and every time I wear them I get the sweetest comments from people.  Today I fixed my hair in a style that I love, a big Dutch braid.  I double up the length and wrapped the very end of my braid in a flower bun right in the middle of my braid.  This style lasted all day long without changing a bit.  I love it!

Lace braids upon lace braids

Hi everyone,

I love lace braids, so this hairstyle is naturally a personal favorite this week.  I made four lace braids, one on top of the other, then put the unbraided section of my hair left over at the bottom into a ponytail.  I braided my ponytail in a rope braid then wrapped it up into a rose bun.  I took the ends of my lace braids and wrapped them around the bun, then added some bobby pins and a flower clip.  This hairstyle lasted all day long and never stopped looking fresh and new.  Many people who saw it commented on my hairstyle, and wondered how in the world I braided my own hair.  They don't know how very simple this braid actually is ^_^

Blue Floral Bouquet

Hello friends,

I posted a picture of my hairstyle today on my Facebook page, and asked for help coming up with a name.  Several suggestions were equally lovely, but the one on top was a floral bouquet.  I can see how the rope waterfall braid, brought together with a tiny elastic, does resemble a vase holding a bouquet of flowers.  Can you tell how much I love this shade of blue? :-)

Flower Updo

Hello friends,

The purple crepe myrtle flowers in our yard are so beautiful, I got ready early and took hair pictures outside in the early morning sunlight.  Such lovely flowers make the perfect background for this flower updo.  I created this hairstyle by making several small rope braids and winding them up into rose buns.  I added a rosebud spiral pin in the center of each "hair" flower, then added extra flower clips as accents.  Thank you for coming to see my post!
