Figure 8 Buns

Hi everybody,

I tried a new hairstyle idea today and loved it!  First I made a small bun with the top section of hair close to my bangs.  I left the tail long and added it into another bun made with the middle section of hair.  Finally I added all the left-over hair from the nape of my neck, but instead of making a third bun I wrapped that hair around the top two buns in a figure-8 fashion.  It's lasted all day long and is extra nice because it keeps all my hair up and off my neck~ so much more comfortable on hot summer days like today!

Wimsey wanted his picture taken, too~ he hopped up on the chair to wait his turn :-)

    Gorgeous updo, and Wimsey is so cute! Do you only use claw clips to hold the buns up, or do you use hair pins too?

      Thank you so much! I used a few bobby pins to help out, but most days I try to make do with my hair clips. If I have a ponytail for the clips to anchor to, that really helps. My hair can stay up all day that way!
