Feminine Stacked Braided Hairstyle

Hello dear friends,

     Yesterday I braided my hair in a stacked braid style, with a small 3-strand braid stacked on top of a Dutch lace braid headband.  Then I put the rest of my loose hair into a French braid, and looped the ends of my braids over one shoulder in a very feminine side bun.

     How fun to wear my favorite orange dress in this beautiful still-summer weather.  Thank you so much for visiting my blog <3

Going Green

Hello everyone,

     I love my new top, especially the ruffles on the long sleeves.  I fixed my hair in a style to match, a stacked braided headband and a sideways French braid.  I looped the lengths of my braids over my shoulder in a side ponytail.  Thank you for visiting my blog <3

  

 

 

 

Stacked braids updo~ my first hairstyle post in 2018

Happy New Year!  How fun to start a new year, full of endless possibilities in so many ways including hairstyles :-)

     For my first hairstyle post of 2018, today I braided my hair in a three-strand rope braid which I stacked on top of a mohawk Dutch braid.  I braided my loose hair on the sides into a French braid overlapping my Dutch braid, then put my length into a braided loose bun/short ponytail.  The rose accent is the end of my rope braid, and I left the tails of my braid as wispy accents.  A long drawn out description of what hopefully makes sense when you look at the pictures.  Thank you so much for visiting!  I'l share the new year's wish that my friend shared with me, that you would be strong, healthy and inspired in the new year and always <3

Banana Braid

Hi everyone,

     What hairstyle could possibly be more perfect for a morning in Micronesia, than a banana braid?  My braid today seemed to be an exact match to the bunch of bananas hanging from a tree in our back yard~ how fun!  This braided hairstyle is a stacked braid headband, combined with a side hybrid-braid ponytail.  I love how this braided style has lasted all day long without looking fuzzy or messy.

Stacked Braided Mohawk

Hello everyone,

     I often see pictures of stacked braids on the internet, and today I tried a mohawk version of this fun braid.  I made my top accent braid first, then I made a blossom Dutch braid.  I pinned the accent braid to the top of the blossom braid to create my stacked braided mohawk, and finished my look with a braided bun.  I love how this hairstyle turned out, and look forward to trying it again <3
