Ginger Rogers half-updo with a braided twist

Hi friends,

Today I did my version of Ginger Rogers half-updo, but I braided the length of my hair in a loose English braid before folding it up and making a small bun like I demonstrate in my Youtube video.  This really helped keep tangles at bay, and kept my hair looking neat all day long! I was glad to find out this trick to avoid a tangled mess at the nape of my neck, which is known to happen when I wear my hair like this but don't take time to re-do it during the day. Poofy French braid mohawk

This has to be one of my favorite looks, and I know I say that a lot but this time I really do mean it :-)  A poofy center mohawk braid, with a low bun~ so easy and so very fun!

I did it, I got one :-)  With a little more practice hopefully I will master the art of taking selfie-hair pictures when no one is around to take them for me.  And pics of one of my favorite looks, a  simple waterfall braid and a side bun.  Thanks for viewing my new post!

Waterfall Updo

Hi everybody,

October 1st seemed like a good day to post a "fall" hairstyle~ in my case, a waterfall braid updo :-)  I interlaced the braids together which gives them a woven look that I love.  For my bun, I put my hair into a low ponytail, then loosely wrapped it up into a bun adding clips at random.
