Today I made a mohawk-type braid in the center, but left out the side strands in a waterfall fashion. I added the strands into new braids on each side, and repeated that step until I had five braids all connected to each other by the waterfall strands. This sounds like such a complicated explanation for something that was actually simple! Thank you for coming to see my new post. I finished this off with a bun, rather than a ponytail~

Waterfall Braids

Hi everybody,
I'm getting very excited about my trip to the Netherlands in September! Redhead Days has a hashtag contest on Facebook for #RHD2015, and the first picture is my contribution. The others are extras :-)
Thank you so much for following my blog! I hope you are having a beautiful sunny day, too.

Short Ponytail for super long hair
Hi everybody,
Today I had a more 50's style look~ a short ponytail, full skirt and bright lipstick :) I made a braided headband first, then put my hair into a ponytail. I divided the hair in my ponytail into two sections and loosely lace braided each section. When I wrapped my braided hair back up and around the base of my ponytail, it looked like this:

Micronesian Girl~ 3D Pull-Through Braid
Hello everybody,
Thank you so much for all the views and comments on my recent posts! I'm so excited to learn these new styles of braids and share my versions of them here on my blog. I think my next hair video will definitely be the pull-through braid :-)
Yesterday afternoon I showed my Micronesian Girl friends how to do the pull-through and the 3D pull-through braids. It was fun braiding someone else's hair for a change! When we were done, the three of us had our picture taken together. Then I took extra pictures of my little friend's 3D braid, so beautiful on her! She looks like a princess <3
