New Year's Eve Braided Updo

Hi friends, 

     My last post of 2017~ a braided updo with orange and white accents to match my lace dress.  To make this hairstyle I pinned a poofy section in front, then made three 4-strand braids.  I put the length of my hair in a low ponytail and braided my ponytail loosely in a 3-strand braid, which I wrapped up into a low bun/short ponytail.

Butterfly Princess

Hello dear friends,

     Recently I got this beautiful skirt, perfect to wear with my favorite top.  I added butterfly earrings and a butterfly or two in my hair, and felt like a butterfly princess wearing my hair in a princess-style braid to match my flowing flowery skirt.

     This braid is a combination of lace braids to frame my face and a Dutch braid in the back center.  The length of my hair is a hybrid braid wrapped up to waist length and clipped in place.  Thank you so much for visiting my blog!  Visit my Facebook page when you have time, I am running a poll on the question of which braid style is your favorite, French or Dutch?

Valentine's Day High Bun with flowers and butterflies

Hello friends, I hope you had a beautiful Valentine's Day and I wish you all a happy day <3

     Today I fixed my hair in a high bun on the very top of my head.  Last night before washing my hair I used the eggs/olive oil/coconut oil hair mask again.  I thought that using this treatment about once a month sounds about right, and my hair still loves it as much as the first few times I've tried this.
     To decorate my bun I put a headband that I got at Claire's around the back of my bun.  A new and different way to wear a headband :-)  The first set of pictures was taken this afternoon when the sun was shining.  I had taken more in the morning, but the sky was overcast then.  Thank you for coming to see my post, and remember to follow my Facebook page.  Thank you my friends :-)

Butterfly Lattice Hairstyle

Hello everyone,

Today I fixed my hair in a head-dress fashion with my favorite little hairclips.  With the length of my hair, instead of making a low bun I made a low ponytail.  Then I wrapped my ponytail up and clipped it in place with more hairclips.  Such a fun hairstyle, especially for taking hair pictures in front of my blue butterfly tree in my room.  Thank you for coming to see my new post, and I hope you have a beautiful day.

Butterfly Bun

Thank you so much for all the views and kind comments on my last several posts, I'm so happy I can share pictures with you all here on my blog.  My bun today was not actually in the shape of a butterfly.  Instead I used my new butterfly hair clip to dress up my rather plain low bun.  I love butterflies, and this clip is so fun!  It looks as real in person as it does in the pictures.  I got it at Claire's in Breda when I was there for the Redhead Days.  Have a wonderful day, my friends!
