Happy day by the water

Hi friends,

     Apparently today is remembered as the International Day of Happiness, so how appropriate to spend a happy day by the beautiful water.  My hair, an extremely impromptu messy bun, seemed to match my earrings rather well.  That's a definite plus to an otherwise not-so-great hair day :-)

 

 

   

 

Half and half hairstyle

Hi everyone,

     I hope your week is off to a lovely start.  Today I fixed my hair in a simple combination style, with half of my hair in a bun and the other half in a short rope braid ponytail.  I loved getting to use hairclips that matched my purple shirt.  What a fun look for an equally fun day :-)

     I hope you had a lovely day <3  These hair pictures were taken indoors tonight, after an extremely busy day.  I love how this hairstyle held up through it all.  The last picture was taken outside this morning, you can see how this hair-do looked from the front.  Thank you for coming to see my post~ in case you are wondering, this is a blossom Dutch braid as a center 'mohawk' braid, with my length in a simple bun.  Very easy and long-lasting!

Circle Braid Bun

Hi friends,

     This morning I tried a circle French braid with a bun, but ended up with a rather lop-sided look instead of the nice orderly center circle and bun I was aiming for.  The horse I met didn't seem to mind, he was too busy trying to get me to open the gate for him to notice my hairstyle.  Later this evening I added a few flowers and changed into my new dress, perfect for the warm weather.  Thanks for visiting my blog!  Come again soon <3

 

 

 

 

  

Hair pictures in the snow~ a beautiful day in the mountains

     My brother and I got to spend the afternoon visiting the Rocky Mountains and seeing snow up close and personal.  What a beautiful day, and surprisingly not as cold as you would think!  Which was perfect, since an island girl like me is certainly not used to cold weather :-)
