Half-and-Half Hairstyle

Hey everybody,

Here is my look for today~ I did double buns with a twist: One side with slanted lace braids, and the other side with a smooth low side-ponytail.  I think I will definitely be doing this one again, as it's one of my favorite double bun looks so far!

  1. What a cute, fun look! I've gotta ask: do you need extra hands when you're braiding, especially for French types? I'm at classic length and I'm beginning to find separating strands is becoming trickier...how do you do it?

    1. Thank you! Sometimes I get caught in the tangles and have to start over again. But most of the time, if I run my fingers all the way down to the bottom each time I add a section of hair, I can avoid tangles at the ends. Or if a tangle starts, I hold my braid in place with one hand and try to comb it out using my big tooth comb. I hope this helps!

  2. I admit that I mesmerized by this style coz it seems so complicated kinds of hair braiding and I wanna know how to do it.

    1. Thank you so much for your comment! I don't know how I missed seeing it for so long. I made two diagonal lace braids, one below the other. Then I put the braid ends into one bun, and made a second bun on the opposite side with my hair that had not been add to any braid. I really like this look, too!
